General characteristics
English is the language of business and work in almost all cases in Bay of Quinte. Fewer than 10% of those who work do so at home. More than 80% of workers drive to work, more than half of the rest walking or bicycling in.
Bay of Quinte has a labour force participation rate of 61.8% and an unemployment rate of 6.6% (March 2012).
