Road
Highway 401, a four-lane, controlled access highway anchors the local highway network. It is also the backbone of the road corridor linking Québec City with Windsor/Detroit. Eight interchanges give Bay of Quinte fast, sure access to the Greater Toronto Area's market of 5 million people.

Rail
Bay of Quinte is a major rail terminus for CN and Canadian Pacific Railway, which run freight trains through here bound for Toronto and Montréal. Stations here receive regular freight and express service. Overnight express service is offered to Toronto and Montréal, and intermediate points.
CN and Canadian Pacific Railway provide service on an interchange basis. Both offer piggyback and container facilities. Rail sidings exist or can be extended to many sites in Bay of Quinte.
