Bay of Quinte housing costs are extremely reasonable. According to the Quinte and District Real Estate Board Inc., the January Average Purchase Price of a residential home in the Quinte area has increased 18.9%, from $141,157 in 2005, to $167,894 in 2006.

The greater Bay of Quinte region includes all the communities in Bay of Quinte: the Census Districts of Hamilton, Cramahe, Alnwick Haldiman, Tyendinaga, Stirling-Rawdon, Centre Hastings, Deseronto, Tweed, Bancroft, Carlow/Mayo, Faraday, Hastings Highlands, Limerick, Madoc, Marmora & Lake, Tudor & Cashel, Wollaston, Greater Napanee, Prince Edward and Trent Hills.
